SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as principal lead for assigned marketing campaigns and brand awareness activities
- Manage public relations efforts, including the agency relationship, arranging interviews, writing press releases and monitoring coverage
- Find impactful publicity opportunities through speaking roles, sponsorships and memberships
- Recommend creative and cost-effective marketing strategies for inclusion in yearly plan
- Maximize marketing effectiveness and efficiency by gathering and disseminating best practices, procedures and objectives
- Monitor marketing expenses, results, and other important metrics
- Provide writing support for all internal and external communications
- Review and edit promotional materials for marketing effectiveness and adherence to brand guidelines
- Allocate funds and support client development activities where strategy and goals reflect the proper vision and strategic position
- Plan and coordinate corporate social responsibility initiatives, cause-related marketing and other special events
- Supervise agencies, vendors and contractors as needed
- Build collaborative, consultative relationships across the organization
