Manager / Senior Manager Finance

Job Description :

A. Key Performance Areas

- Support and assist Centre Financial Manager - Retail with all financial and related functions that take place within the Project Management division.

B. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

- Provide accurate information and support to Project Management team

- Timely and correct processing and/or validating of financial transactions related to Project Management into the computerised accounting system (daily transactions, adjusting journals, tenant statements)

- Clear building reconciliations accurately and timely and ensure accurate balance sheet

- Responsibility for custody of PM financial information and records

- Collection of monthly and annual turnover information from National tenants from centres and reporting thereof, Supervise the collection of all other turnover information from centres

- Supervise and conduct MRI processes, ensuring that the information reflected on the system is accurate and up to date at all times

- Ensure super-user knowledge of all modules of MRI and ability to train and coach all other staff in region

- Ensure that the financial month/year-end procedures and timetable are completed accurately and promptly

- Reconcile all amounts brought forward on rent statements of National tenants and ensure that balances outstanding on vacated tenants are recovered

- Assist the financial manager and general/centre manager with financial duties i.e.:

- Preparation of office and building budgets and ensure that the budgets are completed according to the prescribed procedures and time constraints

- Preparation of monthly executive management report

- Review expenditure and analyse variances

- Manage office expenditure and allocate to the appropriate divisions

- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place for transactions within the relevant portfolio to ensure accuracy and efficiency in order to safeguard the clients assets

- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard client and company assets (control account reconciliations GL, CM, journals, posting of batches)

- Ensure that all income and operating costs are correctly accounted for and any reconciliation issues are resolved

- Verify the accuracy of the following reports and systems: stats flash, new deals, vacancy and unsigned leases reports and spaceman

- Analyse and audit parking and special projects/agents financial reports

- Identify key priorities which add substantial value to the client and the company

- Effective participation in CRM and completion of all CRM projects

- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order to safeguard the Clients and PPZs assets and eliminate all risks to the Client and PPZ

Salary : Upto 12Lacs PA

- Key Competencies required to perform the current role

Knowledge :

1. CA with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent

2. Analytical skills (understanding budgets, analysing variances, recommending corrective actions)

3. PC skills producing reports, analysing and manipulating figures, experience with the operation of a computerised financial accounting system

Managerial:

1. Logical/practical/time conscious able to plan and work to deadlines

2. Sound business judgement
