Manager/Sr Manager - FCU - Business Continuity Planning - Insurance

Details about the position:

Position : FCU-BCP (Business Continuity planning) Manager/Sr.Manager

Location : Bangalore

Requisites :

- Graduate/MBA/M.Com with 7 plus years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or related fields

- Strong project management skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates

- Ability to manage across multiple organizations using exemplary judgment and discretion.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications, Image manipulation using various packages and specialist software tools such as mapping software.

Responsibilities :

- Serve as subject matter expert and provide guidance and support for Business Continuity in the analysis, planning, development, implementation, testing, review, and maintenance of Business Continuity programs and plans.

- Ensure Incident Management plan is maintained and updated in accordance with policies and standards

- Maintain a daily watch on developing events/ incidents around the region. Monitor potential impact to Finance Center personnel, operations or assets and escalate accordingly

- Provide periodic reports to Senior Management identifying BC risk areas and actions being taken to address/ mitigate those risks

- Assist in the development and delivery of awareness days linked to BC matters (e.g. general BC awareness, Pandemic Flu awareness)

- Work within the team to identify innovative and consistent solutions/ mitigation plans for new risks/ threats to Controllers organization.

- Provide written reports following incidents identifying positive actions taken, areas for improvement and, where applicable, mitigation strategies.

- Provide information/ metrics relating to threats, events and incidents as requested by Finance BCP Owner
