Manager/Senior Manager - Employee Relations
Location: Gurgaon
Role Description:
This role reports to the VP International Employee Relations and supports the delivery of Employee and Labor Relations projects and activities in India. This role will also support projects and initiatives throughout Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the regional HR team to provide ER expertise into HR services and the design of business transformation initiatives
- Coach HR and business leaders to develop Employee Relations (ER) skills and contribute to risk mitigation
- Manage high-risk, escalated investigations into employee complaints, grievances and employment-related issues
- Supporting consultation processes on business transformation projects, mergers/acquisitions, etc
- Provide guidance in designing, maintaining, updating and interpreting HR and ER Policies
- Develop comprehensive guides and self service process tools
- Provide input into the development of regional and global ER initiatives
Qualifications: -7-9 years’ experience in ER, Employment Law or HR - Advanced knowledge of Indian Employment Law, with experience of working across the region preferred.
- Experience of successfully working within a highly matrixed multi-national environment.
- Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders at senior level
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization, produce presentations and management reports as tools for strategy formulation and implementation.
- Ability to focus both on detail and broader implications of issues.
- Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Educational Qualification: MBA or equivalent required. Law Degree preferred
