Job Description:

This B35 Position In the Decision Science Team will work In Modeling Research And Innovation Function.

Some Of The Challenges That The Team Is Expected To Work Include:

- Best statistical technique to compute the variable contribution of modeling variables

- Researching statistical technique to come up with the framework of CCAR

- Come up with the best statistical technique to evaluate the performance of the statistical model

- Designing Next Generation Of Modeling Attributes From Amex Closed Loop Information With Particular Emphasis On Online Merchants

- Identifying Acquisition Opportunities Utilizing Geographical Information

- Researching Alternate Modeling Techniques To Elevate Risk Predictions

- Researching Early Warning Triggers That Can Be Used For Forward Looking Risk Score Adjustments

- Implementing The Above Solutions In Collaboration With The Capability Teams

Qualification:

- Strong Analytical Skills And In Depth Understanding Of Statistical Modeling And Decision Science

- Good Knowledge Of Various Data Mining Tools And Experience Of Working With Unstructured Data

- Strong Relationship And Collaboration Skills – Proven Ability To Work With Multiple Business Partners

- Good Communication Skills - Ability To Present Work In Large Forums And To Summarize Information Well For Senior Leaders

- PHD from ISI Cal, or B-STAT from ISI Cal
