Primary focus
- Strategy (cost optimisation, business case definition)
- Programme portfolio planning and development of roadmaps for technology-enabled business transformation programmes
- Project management and assurance
- Sourcing (vendor evaluation and management)
- Due-diligence (pre & post merger inc. IT assessment / audit)
- Data architecture and information management
- Regulatory compliance (inc. risk, governance, policies & procedures, security, benchmarking & accreditation)
Key Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities require a combination of management, consultancy and technical skills to:
- Take responsibility for and lead multiple engagement types spanning a broad IT advisory spectrum
- Identify client needs and lead on the development of the commercial proposal to meet their business requirements
- Provide client teams with a primary point of contact for project delivery
- Utilise proven project management tools and processes to ensure project quality / control
- Plan, estimate, manage and deliver to time and budget one or more projects (possibly with multiple clients) to realise maximum benefit for a client with minimised risk
- Manage the direction, priorities, scope and plan for one or more projects, potentially including a number of 3rd parties, to realise maximum benefit for a client
- Identify, analyse, mitigate and proactively respond to project, financial and operational risks; both real and anticipated
- Sustain an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team to achieve project / team goals to realise value for a client
- Manage the tracking and reporting on key solution delivery metrics for one or more projects
- Encourage professional development of individuals and apply sound measurement and feedback techniques to manage and optimise individual and team contributions
- Communicate project status effectively and appropriately to convey key messages and escalate issues as appropriate
- Recognise, support and capitalise on individual differences in work-styles, personalities, cultures and values to maximise team performance and effectively achieve personal and team goals
Skills & Attributes:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate key skills and qualifications in one or more of the following areas:
- Min 3 years of relevant consulting experience
- Appropriate technical qualifications (e.g. TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL)
- Experience of (or exposure to) ERP / CRM applications (SAP, Oracle, Siebel, etc.)
- Relevant project based qualifications (e.g. APM, Prince2, PMP, PMI, MSP)
