We are currently looking for a Manager- Specification Sales for one of the topmost Architectural Hardware and access solutions MNCs in the world. The position is to be based at Bangalore.

Our client is one of the top three companies in the global market for security and access solutions, with pro forma sales of more than CHF 2 billion and around 16,000 employees. The company is active in over 50 countries and has a presence, through both production sites and distribution and service offices, in all relevant markets.

Product Clusters:

- Automatics Sliding Door Operators

- Automatic Swing Door Operator

- Automatics Complete Doors (Framed/ Curved / Telescopic / Revolving.)

- Movable Wall/Partitions: Variflex , Skyfold

- Fire Door, related hardware and Exit Devices

- Electronic Lock and Devices

- Manual Doors: Wooden and Glass

The purpose of the role is to manage Pre Sales activities and support the Projects and Key Accounts team with understanding and highlighting Project specifications, understanding related building codes and interacting with Architects and Specifiers.

KPIs include:

- Increased no. of Architects / Builders / Investors using specifications and testimonials

- No. of successful order conversions from project specification opportunities

- No. of new enquiries and new clients

- No. of specifications made in the range of high specification products

Managerial and Coordination Requirements:

- Develop relationships with architects and designers by regular meetings and presentations, and educating them on related codes and standards and solutions

- Co-ordinate between Architects & Specification team to ensure that specifications are congruent with Architect's vision

- Contribute to continuous learning within the Project Management Team through assistance in trainings for new recruits on how to do specifications, and awareness on codes and standards

- Assist Product Marketing Managers with product presentations

- Follow up with site consultants to promote products on technical backgrounds, and offering premium products and solutions

- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations

- Responsible to maintain and update activities in SalesForce.com

- Monitor, report and analyse competition activities and develop effective effective strategies to counter them

- Coordinate with marketing team and architects for continued education and provides support in communication with DHI and GAI

- Bachelors Degree/ Diploma in Engineering

- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD

- Preferred - Certificate GAI and Knowledge of ANSI / ISO/ DIN / EN HW standards

- Knowledge of CRM tools would be an advantage

- High degree of proficiency in MS Office

- Result-oriented and team worker

- Minimum 5-6 years' experience in a related field

- Strong familiarity with project management tools

- Should have excellent relationships with Architects, Builders, Contractors

Salary : Around Rs. 18.0-20.0 LPA (Although not a limiting factor)

Location : Bangalore
