Description

Reporting into the Country Head, you will be responsible for:

- Developing the business across three categories - bath, carpets, and deco- by implementing global strategies after taking cognizance of local market conditions.

- Liaising with, and developing the supplier base to ensure strong and rewarding relationships.

- Developing strategies to achieve long term targets, and putting in place the right measures to ensure successful implementation.

- Personal and professional development of the team of colleagues reporting into you.

- Driving a culture that is inclusive and inculcates a sense of togetherness and responsibility.

Profile

In order to apply successfully to this opportunity, you will:

- Come with at least 12 years of prior sourcing experience in the relevant product categories.

- Have a strong track record of delivering on long term business goals while adhering to the strictest ethical standards.

- Have a demonstrable prior track record of proactive measures to address business opportunities.

- Carry prior team management and leadership experience.

- Be willing to travel extensively for business purposes.

- Demonstrate an ability to communicate with clarity, transparency, and respect.
