Manager - Sourcing/Procurement - IT

One of our client, a leading IT MNC in Hyderabad is looking for Manager - Sourcing/Procurement.

Job Description

- Will be responsible for ITS Trade compliance activities for all the three facilities at Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore

- Maintain better professional relationship with statutory authorities like STPI, Customs & Central Excise, by representing the organization through nominated agencies.

- Manage Freight Forwarders (FF) and Customs House Agent (CHA), plan and acquire STPI approvals and complete Customs Clearance activities at the earliest without Demurrage.

- Coordinating with Insurance agency for Marine Insurance for Import of materials.

- Manage Inter unit Transfer, de-bonding of materials as per Central Excise policy and also bonding and de-bonding of Units.

- Maintaining Bond Register and Bond Asset Tracker in Online system. Ensure on time submission of periodical reports to the statutory authorities.

- Coordinating with Supplier and End user for Re-Export of loan basis Goods and Fault materials.

- To drive the automation initiatives within the function in order to ensure client satisfaction.

- Maintaining Insurance coverage of Capital Goods and Coordination with Insurance Consultants.

Desired Skills:

- Should have the overall professional experience of 10-12 Years, of which at least 9 Years should be in managing ITS Compliance and Logistics deliverables.

- Should have strong hands-on experience in STPI operations (Export oriented unit) Company handling Imports, Bond to Bond, Loan Basis, Inter-unit and High Sea Sale Purchases.

- Should have experience in interacting with Vendors, good negotiation skills for deciding the Procurement.

- Should have proper understanding about various aspects of IT Hardware and Software products and Non-IT Procurement.

- A degree in any discipline. Candidates with MBA or Post Graduate certification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics shall be given additional weightage.
