Position Manager, Category Sourcing and Procurement - (Packaging and Grocery) Key Metrics : - Responsible for sourcing various SKUs in various food categories at most competitive rates at desired quality parameters across regions (North, West, and South) - Should be expert in either of packaging, grocery, fresh (meats and vegetables) or agri category with a deep understanding of annual cost cycles - Must have an extensive network of suppliers in the F&B industry - Cost benchmarking and analysis - Must be great in negotiation - Should have experience of contract manufacturing from vendors at desired quality parameters - Implementation of ISO, TPM, 5 S, and other Best Manufacturing Practices at the 3rd Party Manufacturing site. - Vendor Performance Evaluation and Monitoring - Drive Projects on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Electronic Data Interface (EDI), etc. - Works with vendors to develop a relationship as partner relationship - Devise strategies to keep vendor partners business growth - Execute legal contracts with vendor partners protecting the interests of the organization in terms of cost and quality - Forecast price trends for effective procurement & risk mitigation - Execute forward buying strategies wherever necessary to optimize procurement costs - Drive various cost saving projects to keep overall costs within target levels - Drive Projects on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Electronic Data Interface (EDI), etc. Key Competencies: - B.TECH/MBA experience in category sourcing for (7-10) years with strong expertise in either of packaging, grocery, or fresh (meat and vegetables) category - Strong Negotiation skills - Understanding of fine print of vendor contracts - Strong network of vendors - Team player - Good time-management skills - Great interpersonal and communication skills Location: South ,Delhi Lead consultant: Sumit Sharma 6361459841(Whatsapp)
