Main Responsibilities:-  - Manage and co ordinate all matters related to pricing process.  - Optimise costs and leverage buying power.  - Consolidate material requirement and make the strategy to buy at the optimum cost.  - Develop effective cost model to optimize inventory turns & cost reduction.  - Provide regular updates to Finance on cost reduction.  - Solicit ongoing feedback from purchase on supplier performance and support, develop efficient and cost effective supplier base.  - Work with component engineering team and drive cost reduction through alternates management.  - Consolidation of buys through strategic suppliers and reduction of non-performing or risky suppliers.  - Formalize agreements with suppliers on all commercial and delivery issues.  Key Requirements of the Position:-  - Bachelor of Engineering in any Discipline with exposure to electronics. Engineering in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics is preferred.  - Post qualification in material management will have an advantage.  - Overall 10-12 years of Experience in multiple functions like SCM, Purchase, Sourcing. Minimum of five years business experience in the strategic sourcing in electronic components industry.  - Ability to work and communicate with internal and external senior business management.  - Strong Business Acumen.  - Ability to handle varied suppliers and dealers/channel partners.  - Good computer knowledge/MS Office  - Contractual and legal knowledge in SCM processes  Brief about our Client:-   Our client serves international customers in Electronics systems for various segments which includes telecom, power, medical, space, aerospace and defense.
