Responsibilities :
- As a Field Development Manager he/she mentor and grow a team of talented software engineers
- Combination of both People Manager & hands-on technologist
- Managing teams in building out the FD development engineers in Chennai.
Qualifications :
- Engineering Graduate with both Managerial & Technical experience ranging from 12 - 15 years
- Inspire the team to innovate, learn and excel
- Discover, develop and retain top talent
- Provide leadership to coach, motivate, and guide team members to their top performance levels and career development
- Provide design guidance and know when to bring in the right experts to solve a problem
- Hands on coding, prototyping and guidance of technology solutions
- Drive software development practices in the team by working with product management, QA, software developers and internal stake holders
Collaborate with your peers to help achieve the company goals of quality, innovation and customer success.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Java programming and J2EE technologies. 12-15 yrs Years).
- Programming in C++ is an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong QA unit testing and documentation.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of databases such as Oracle/SQL Server.
- Knowledge of tools such as JASPER Report, Xenon - GoXml mappings.
- Knowledge of JDBC, XML, SPRING and Hibernate.
- Skilled in troubleshooting techniques knowledge of Object-Oriented.
Travel :
- Ability to travel with no constraints. The expected travel in a year may be 50 to 60% anywhere in the World
