Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all content marketing initiatives, including strategy development, planning, execution, and analysis
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our business objectives and target audience
- Create engaging and high-quality content for various channels such as websites, blogs, social media platforms, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and design, to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, messaging, and overall marketing initiatives
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic
- Manage relationships with external agencies, freelance writers, and ghostwriters to supplement content creation efforts
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, SEO, and digital marketing, and apply relevant insights to enhance our content strategy
- Analyze content performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of content marketing efforts and make data- driven recommendations for improvement
- Analyse customer expectations, requirements and develop social media posts accordingly
- Create, implement and execute content ideas with the design team
- Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management, content developers, vendors and collaborators
Qualifications & Skill Set:
- Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in content marketing, preferably in financial services & fintech companies
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful content marketing campaigns
- Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization
- Experience in managing external agencies and working with freelance writers and ghostwriters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and content management systems
