Responsibilities:

As a social media manager, you will manage an organization's online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analyzing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns. Some of the areas that the team member should be able to handle end-to-end include:

- Develop creative and engaging social media strategies

- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram. A detailed know-how of recruitment portals and channels and leverage them well for employer branding campaigns

- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools (best practices)

- Create engaging multimedia content along with the team (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms

- Develop, launch and manage new campaigns that promote our organization and brand

- Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms

- Undertake audience research

- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions

- Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook insights, Instagram measuring and Glassdoor

- Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity

- Recommend improvements to increase social media channels' performance

- Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase potential talent engagement and help recruitment drives

- Manage, motivate and coach colleagues to become potential influencers for the brand

- Manage a budget for social media activities

- Educate leaders on the use of social media and promote its use within your company (in-house roles)

- Encourage collaboration across teams and departments

Qualifications

Open to graduates/post graduates from disciplines in the field of marketing communications, journalism, content marketing, however, the following subjects can be particularly helpful:

- Advertising

- Business management

- Journalism

- Marketing (particularly digital marketing)

- Media and communications

- Public relations

The candidate should possess 7+ years of experience in developing and executing social media strategy, content management, measurement and analytics of social media channels.
