Position Description:

Overview:

The social media manager will get to work on initiatives related to customer acquisition, retention on social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter & Instagram

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Must-have:

- 2+ years experience of working in social media marketing

- Experience including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter & YouTube

- Must think out of the box in terms of identifying target audiences and onboarding them by way of digital campaigns that engage and inform the TG

- Understanding of machine learning algorithms of Google, Facebook and other Social Media platforms

- Should be able to optimize landing pages and user funnels

- Must have a working knowledge of website analytics tools such as Hootsuite, SEMrush, and Google Analytics,

- A self-starter with high energy and team spirit and who keeps abreast of the latest trends in online marketing and measurement

- Ability to understand user personas and devise marketing strategies accordingly

- Should also have excellent data capabilities experience of launching optimized campaigns via Facebook to increase Turing's awareness in the developer and business community and must be adept at data science

Nice-to-have:

- Relevant experience in the education/tech/e-commerce space

- Graduation/post graduation from Tier I/Tier II colleges

- Excellent oral and written skills in English, strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills

- Experience of working in a startup

Responsibilities:

- Analyse and evaluate both existing and potential social media activities and strategies

- Conduct, gather and analyse market research to determine social media opportunities and competitiveness

- Identify, interpret and capitalize on social media trends

- Plan, manage, coordinate and execute all social media programs and initiatives

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of all social media programs and initiatives

- Achieve targeted results and ensure timely and effective execution of initiatives as per the content and social media calendar

- Develop benchmark criteria to measure the effectiveness of social media programs and implement improvements if needed

Employment Type: Full-Time/Permanent

Workdays: 5 days a week (Mon to Fri)

(Working Hours: Must be able to overlap 3-4 hours with US time zone, since our major stakeholders are based out of US)
