Manager - SEO - Digital Marketing Firm - IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS

Search ON - SEO Manager with 6+ Years of experience in leading and managing SEO teams along with Leadership & Project Management Skills.

- Preferred some one with Master's degree in Business/Marketing/Advertising or Communications from Tier 1 institution.

Strategic :

Solution Development & Evolution :

- Play an active role in developing standard, replicable SEO solutions in partnership with the SEO Subject Matter Experts/ Solution Architects & Strategists

- Gather inputs from projects and client interactions to enable continuous evolution of the SEO framework, templates, processes and solution documents

- Identify and onboard potential partnerships (tools and services) to enable efficient and quality delivery of SEO projects

- Enable deployment of technical expertise on client projects

Capability Research :

- Enable research in the organic search space in a planned, structured and proactive manner to keep the function abreast with latest developments in the digital space that impact SEO

- Lead and create - Points of View- (POVs) and other thought leadership articles on different subject areas within SEO and any changes in the SEO ecosystem in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts/ Solution Architects/Strategists

- Represent the SEO expertise of company in external and internal forums as and when the opportunity arises

Operational :

Quality and Expertise :

- Own overall quality of SEO solution delivery on client projects

- Guide implementation and use of SEO framework, tools, processes and templates on client project delivery

- Gather inputs from projects and client interactions to enable continuous evolution of the SEO framework, templates, processes and solution documents

- Drive the creation of a work review and expertise layer in India by working closely with SEO subject matter experts/strategists

Knowledge Management :

- Lay out the entire platform and process for structured management of knowledge of the SEO practice including decks, dashboards, templates, processes, frameworks, etc.

- Actively drive documentation and storage of knowledge by working closely with knowledge group leaders

- Ensure conduct of knowledge sharing sessions from time to time in a planned and agenda driven manner to encourage cross-project learning

People :

- Create and drive the implementation of the capability development plan for SEO

- Contribute to overall capability development of the function by enabling formal and informal training sessions

Key Performance Indicators :

- Demonstration of technical excellence in SEO on the projects and for building the function in the form of POVs, thought leadership articles generated

- Contribution to creating the framework to deliver error free and high quality output on projects

- Effective execution of capability development plan

- Introduction of best practices to the team based on knowledge and expertise in digital marketing and SEO

- Initiatives and effectiveness of knowledge management

Desired qualifications :

- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications from Tier 1 institution

- Bachelor's in quantitative disciplines will be a plus

- Bachelor- s/Masters in Communications and English language will be a plus

Desired experience :

- 5+ years of recent experience in SEO and digital marketing

- Experience of leading and managing SEO teams will be preferred

- At least 3 years of experience in solution research and development, preferably in the area of SEO and digital marketing and transformation

- Prior experience of writing thought leadership articles will be a big plus

- Prior experience of working in research focused, solution architect and knowledge manager roles will be a plus

- Experience of working in client servicing roles delivering SEO programs will be a big plus

- Experience of working with global clients will be a preference

Knowledge and Skills :

Technical Knowledge :

- Strong knowledge of digital marketing/ digital transformation

- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and an inclination to explore the area in depth

- Knowledge of SEO tools and processes will be a plus

- Strong skills in end to end SEO inclusive of technical, on-page and off-page strategies will be preferred

- Ability to write and publish thought leadership articles in external and internal media
