Hiring- Manager/Sr. Manager-Technical Accounting-USGAAP/IFRS (US insurance Company) - Noida (7-14 yrs)
Job Dimensions are as below:
- Process entails preparation of local GAAP adjustment for APAC, EMEA and LATAM countries for an insurance client.
- Understanding local regulatory requirements as laid out by local regulators and prepare financial statements accordingly.
- Ability to review financials and provide feedback to the team and ensure control checks are in place
- Ability to analyze financials and provide insights on anomalies on prevalent accounting procedures and policies

Essential Functions
- Require expert knowledge and ability to manage month close accounting journals, review reconciliations and financial statements and related reports, investigate problems and organize projects
- Insurance accounting experience and US GAAP or IFRS knowledge mandatory.
- Ability to deliver value working on various activities in statutory/Gaap accounting close cycle and deliver results accordingly.
Desired Skill set
- Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFA or equivalent with 6 - 9 years- experience in US GAAP / IFRS accounting experience
- B.Com with strong practical experience in Accounting and reporting for more than 10-12 years
- Should have expert level understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
- Requires the knowledge and ability to review financial statements and related reports, provide solutions to technical accounting issues and organize projects
- Insurance accounting regulatory reporting experience or US GAAP/IFRS knowledge mandatory.
- Ability to understand the significance of various activities in a statutory/GAAP accounting close cycle and deliver results accordingly.
The primary responsibilities of this role include -
- Manager for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support
- Manager for the purpose of settling issues left unresolved by the Assistant Manager and monthly evaluation of performance
- Peers (team members) for the purpose of seeking co-operation & clarification on process-related matters & providing assistance and support when required
