Manager / Sr. Manager Talent Management (Manufacturing)

Our client is a leading building material manufacturing company in India, exporting their products to 20 countries. The company is looking for a Manager/Sr. Manager who will be driving the Company's Talent Management process. The role holder will be accountable for developing the Talent Management strategy and plans that align with the Company's VMV and Strategy and the direction set. Ensuring that the initiatives launched are driven with vigor to deliver the desired outcomes.

This position is based in Kolkata and reports to the Head of Talent Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Principal Accountabilities:

- Develop a Talent Management strategy that is aligned with the Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategy of the Company.

- Drive people development initiatives to ensure that the organization is primed for growth from a talent availability perspective.

- Ensure that there is rigor in the preparation of Development Plans and the execution of development interventions associated with the plans.

- Accountable for the Fast Track Program, identification of current and emerging top talent, and for creating a talent/leadership pipeline to ensure that the growth plans are not disrupted for want of leadership and talent.

- Introduce a Career Path structure for the enterprise to provide a growth path to the employees and to support the development of the leadership pipeline.

- Initiate CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions as required.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

- MBA in HR from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 B-School

- Diploma in T&D from ISTD or any other equivalent body is preferred.

- Between 8-12 years of experience with at least 5 years in the manufacturing sector in the Talent Management Function.

- A good understanding of the principles of Talent Management in a fast-growing organization is essential.

- Strong experience in succession planning, and setting up performance management systems.

- The ideal candidate will be a budding thought leader with a creative bent of mind coupled with strong communication skills.

- An ability to design and deliver learning interventions is essential.
