We are currently hiring for a service industry-

- Work as per the Supply chain SOP for various suppliers for the season for the organic or REEL cotton programmes.

- Work with the teams to facilitate the functioning and plan with various projects, ginners and supply chain partners to make sure that the requirements are well monitored and met in terms of the right quantity and quality of cotton including the flow of reports & communications.

- Coordinate in linking various project farm groups across different states with certified ginners and beyond.

- H/She takes the responsibility of overseeing, linkage activities and procurement of cotton, planning, scheduling, inventory management, mapping with different stakeholders of the Cotton / textile supply chain.

- H/She facilitates CottonConnect's traceability system 'TraceBale' and helps in monitoring periodical updates of data by various stakeholders.

- Communicating with ginners connected with projects and updating them on availability of cotton at appropriate time.

- Support to get the ginners and supply chain partners compliant with the various certifications / Code of Conducts (Organic, REEL etc.).

- Training the various stakeholders such as ginners, spinners, knitters/weavers, garment manufacturers and the brand on Supply Chain SOPs and TraceBale. Generate and furnish the Chain of Custody reports generated by TraceBale and validate the supply chain entries.

- Monitoring various processes such as seed linkages, farm activity, ginning, spinning, knitting/weaving at appropriate timing and conduct audits on supply chain traceability implementation and credibility of the data.

- Verification of documents of all stakeholders of supply chain at least once in a season and internal audit.

- Shall support supply chain events/workshops etc.

- Supporting commercial development and business development team, whenever there is a need.

Required:

- Knowledge and experience of the cotton textile supply chain and cotton/organic cotton sector in general and the various processes in textile industry.

- Good to have the working understanding of sustainable cotton supply chain.

- Understanding of textile sustainability including knowledge on organic; proven keen interest in the issues of sustainability, preferably in textile industry.

- Good to have knowledge about the organic sector in India.

- Good to have professional network of organic farm groups and ginners in India.

- Can manage customer communications.

- Experience of working with ginners / spinners and other processors, international brands and supply chains.

- Strong communication in English and Hindi (both written & spoken) and attentive listening abilities.

- Good with technological systems - MIS (procurement planning, inventory management and traceability).

- Efficient facilitator of professional relationships and/or groups

- Experience working with organizations and grass root groups/bodies.

- Ability to work independently, to take initiative, and engage others.

- Willingness and ability to travel frequently.

- Enjoy taking on a challenge and be open to new ideas.

- Ability to work in a multicultural environment with respect for diversity and gender balance.

- Supply chain teams of brands / customers

- Supply chain partners and Farm groups, ginners, spinners etc.

- Local partners and staff

- Seed suppliers / Audit Companies

Experience :

- At least 8-10 years' experience of working in a cotton/textile supply chain role

- Experience and understanding of farm and ginning activities and textile traceability

- Adequate knowledge of using traceability softwares preferable, but not mandatory

- Knowledge on project management, monitoring and evaluation

Qualifications / Skills :

- Preferably degree in Textile technology or University degree with knowledge on textile, or equivalent higher education qualification

- Pro-efficient on working with various computer programs such as MS-word, Excel, Power point etc.

- High Analytical skills of various reports and data sets.

- Timely management reporting
