Its a Series-C company which provides fully managed co-living and student housing spaces. We are India's fastest moving technology startup in the co-living and student housing spaces. With an aim to provide a completely hassle-free long term living experience to working professionals as well as students, our living spaces offer all kinds of basic and luxury living amenities.

Zolo has fundamentally been an operating company and through 2021 has pioneered the model of strata sale of buildings to retail investors. While this model has now started gaining traction across markets, there is a fundamental need for Capital Market assistance for stressed and regular assets that will add to more flagship assets for Zolo as well as create value for investors.

Capital Market team assists investors in creating financial structures that helps them hold on to the assets for yield by using leverage. Capital Markets team is also working with institutional investors and Family offices in putting together build to suit buildings for yield as a combination of equity and debt.

Founded by alumni of IIM, IIT, AIIMS, ISB in 2015, and is presently in 10 cities across India and expanding to other geographies. We are at a team size of 700+. Serving approximately 16,000-20,000 customers daily.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Acquisition :

- Identify Stressed Assets across markets of MMR, NCR, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad

- Which are ready for acquisition at a discount to market value

- Forward purchase transactions in regular ongoing projected not declared stressed also will be an opportunity

- Generate property leads on a regular basis

- Maintaining a quality lead funnel regularly

- Focus on required clusters proposed by the demand team

- Build & maintain relationship with Bankers / Agencies focused on stressed assets across country

- Work on deal proposals & presentations with the Business Head and the Demand Head

- Activate market intelligence & surveys on a regular basis

- Converting prospects into a transaction by identifying appropriate distressed primary residential/commercial properties to match the investment needs

- Generating leads individually and having a deal making understanding and capability by taking together all stake holders

- Managing site visits, answering all relevant queries in the process, liaising with the developers / bankers for any clarification, if required

- Ensuring that prospects are satisfied with their interaction at the time of meetings and site visits

- Regular reviews with the regional head

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS :

Role: Manager/Senior Manager - Capital Markets

Background :

- MBA - Tier 1 / Tier 2 College

- Six to Eight Years of Relevant Stressed Assets/ Special Situation Real Estate Finance experience

- Experience with Banks ( Real Estate Finance Arm) / Real Estate Finance Firms / International Property Consultants / Institutional Channel Partners

- Good knowledge of financial structuring parameters of Stressed Assets. Some technical and budgeting skill in "cost to go" will be nice to have

- Good Network with developers & channel partners across the country.

- Individual contributor driven by Inner motivation. Investment banking qualities
