Manager/Senior Manager Research

Requirements :

- PG in Economics/ Statistics or MBA.

- Doctorate in any discipline or Professional qualifications / certifications like CFA, FRM etc. will be a plus.

- Sound knowledge of quantitative techniques & Excel macros;

- Understanding and application of standard analytical software like STATA, SPSS will be a plus.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); Advanced usage of MS Office will be required. - Knowledge about data terminals such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg.

- Sound analytical and problem solving skills.

- Experience in a research-focused organization/ research division of financial service organization. - Experience in financial / commodity derivatives/ capital market.

Responsibilities :

- Ensure timely release and regular enrichment of ongoing publications. Conceptualize and execute new publications.

- Knowledge sharing through articles in mainstream external publications.

- Lead the other knowledge sharing initiatives of exchange like content creation for website; organize seminars, webinars etc.

- Coordinate research projects with external stakeholders along with timely completion.

- Publish research studies in research journals and / or Presentations in conferences.

- Undertake research on products, processes, participants and policies for overall development of the market.

- Support various index administration activities like rebalancing, supervision, audits, technological development.

- Lead / support any other projects, activities undertaken by the department.

- Response to regulators such as comments to Consultation papers, policy discussions etc.
