Key Roles & Responsibilities.
TENDERING PROCESS RELATED.
- Detailed Study of Competitive Tender Bids -Preliminary Analysis of the Scope of Work (SoW),.
- Resources required, Time Frame, Performance requirements, Qualification Criteria, Previous.
- Experience and assessment of suitability for participation.
- Preparing a SOP for Pre-order Tender Participation with check lists and standardized module data.
- Listing various Tender Clauses for Conformance and outlining the Deviation Clauses with reasoning.
BID-No BID Analysis.
- Preparing the document for Cross-functional team's evaluation and refining the same for Management's approval.
- Synthesizing the various Application Engineering inputs and evaluating the conformance of the. predicted performance with tender specifications.
- Sizing of RE equipment and Battery Storage.
- Preliminary feasibility Study of the Project Site-(WRA/irradiation studies), Infra-structure, Evacuation,.
- Resource analysis, project schedule evaluation, BoM and Costing.
- Work Scheduling & Milestone date(s).
- Structuring the offer-Proposal preparation, data supplementation, qualifying /confidential information.
- Proposal validation by the internal cross functional team and refinements, if any.
- Participation in the actual tendering /Reverse bidding along with the BD team.
- RFQs, BoMs, COSTING, PRICING, LEGO-COMMERCIAL RELATED.
- Estimating the Detailed Bill of Materials (BoM) for Site development - Products and Equipment,.
- Project Infrastructure, E&C and O&M in line with the Scope of Work specified in the Tender Bids.
- Estimating the Engineering and Project Man-hours required until Project completion and hand-over.
- Cataloguing and estimating various direct & indirect overheads, transfer pricing mechanisms (if. applicable), Working Capital requirements and Financing Costs.
- Domestic/International logistic costsShipping, loading/unloading, bill of lading, Insurance &. warehousing.
- Taxation related cost estimations - GST, works contract, Octroi etc.
- Also Import-Export taxes and. hedging costs for Forex.
- Targeted RevenuesIRR Calculations, Projected Contributions, Break-even Analysis, Profits. (Supported by Finance team).
- Pricing Strategy - Cost plus pricing, Differential pricing, Niche Pricing, Competitive parity, Export-. Import pricing.
- NPV & Discounted cost calculations.
- Contingency Costs and Future cost provisioning.
- Warranty/Guarantee costs.
- Legal Costs, Due-diligence costs, technology costs, consultancy costs - both inhouse/out-sourced.
PRODUCT RELATED.
- Technical Knowledge related to ProductsSolar, Wind, Hybrids, and Battery Storage.
- Awareness / working knowledge of Major Parts & Components of the above and National /.
- International quality standards awareness applicable to. the parts/components (supported by. Engineering group).
- OEMs and Sourcing Details of Major Equipment and Systems. (supported by Engineering/SCM teams).
- Compilation of Technical Specifications of Products, Components, Equipment & Systems.
- Testing & Negotiating - Performance, Warranty/Guarantee and Supervision Services.
- Due-diligence on Vendor Qualification and product/component standardization.
PROJECT RELATED.
- Choice of land, Soil studies & Foundation - Site development activities, cost and time.
- Project Costing related to Power Evacuation Transmission Lines, Load flow studies DP Yard,. Switchyards, Pooling Station, Sub-station.
- Site Control Room and SCADA (With support from Engineering).
- Schemes for Lightning Protection, Earthing (With support from Engineering).
- Project work Scheduling PERT, CPM, Bar charts or software based.
- Awareness of Site Safety & Quality standards.
