Role : Manager/Senior Manager - Production  Main Responsibilities (Listed In Order Of Priority) :   - To plan, decide and implement the Strategy for effective and efficient working of the Operations group in line with the annual business plans.  - To plan the operations based on the sales plan of the Marketing department and availability status of fruits (Quality and price) by the Procurement department.  - To prepare annual budget for the department and exercise budgetary control.  - To ensure that the yield is as per the standards specified through random checks by staff.  - To ensue that production outputs is as per the norms with the aim at Zero rejection through setting standards for sorting, grading, quantity of waste and passing this on to the staff to follow.  - To ensure minimum loss through waste by constant monitoring of production.  - To ensure minimum breakdown and maximum output  - To ensure dispatches are as per schedule by coordinating with Commercial for the time and quantity of the indents to be dispatched and monitoring these dispatches.  - To ensure that the excess demand, which is over and above the plant capacity, is met by direct purchase or through job orders.  To participate in identifying parties for outsourcing and contactors for maintenance and spare parts through a committee which includes :  - Examining the capacity, techniques used, distance (cost of transportation), financial background and existing customers.  Rate negotiation   - To ensure that the quality of production is as per the required standards through inspecting the plant, samples testing, deploy an assistant to monitor the activities, provide them with the raw material and packing material.  - To certify the bills of these third parties and forward to Accounts section.  - To ensure that there are minimum breakdowns and optimization of the plant capacity through routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance carried out by the Maintenance in charge.  - To ensure warehousing of fresh and finished products as per the quality systems  Additional/ Occasional Responsibilities (listed in order of priority) :   - Improvements in the Operating parameter have improved Quality Acceptance in Mango Like TMP, TMC etc. New products like Banana Concentrate, Yellow Papaya Puree, Yellow Papaya Concentrate, & 20 KG Packing has been done with existing Facility.  - Inputs from Operation fulfilled ISO 22000 Food safety Management Requirements without Re-Audit.  - Improved the existing system for Stock Evaluation & also Records in Warehouse which was verified during Internal Audit.  Education Qualification : B. Tech/ M. Tech/ M.Sc. (Food Tech/ Fruit Tech) from reputed Institutes  Experience : 12+ yrs of relevant experience in Food/ Pulp Manufacturing Industry
