Manager/Senior Manager - Product Costing - Automobile Industry

- Cost Planning & Analysis, Steering Product-wise Performance - month-on-month, monitoring, analyzing reasons cost deviations; steering for realization of cost measures in Value Stream & triggering the concerned for appropriate actions

- Finalizing Business Plan in line with Target expectations from Business Units, Periodic Current Forecasts considering volume changes, on-going business dynamics, premises change, etc.

- Product-wise; evaluation of new business cases against Transfer Projects, New Business Acquisitions, Relocation Projects, Make or Buy decisions, etc.

- Stabilize & refine the Business Processes in line with changing market dynamics, automate the process with right tools & avoid manual dependence, support VSO / Plant Management / Regional Business Units with right inputs & insights for decision making.

Other Competencies :

- Cost / Accounting Standards, analyze & interpret financial statements, expertise in cost / profitability analysis

- Understanding the 'cause & effect' relationships, costing techniques & steer with concerned for appropriate actions

- Knowledge on International Transfer Pricing guidelines, Indirect Taxation

- Working Knowledge on latest IT tools - SAP FI & CO, Office Automation tools & Digitization platforms

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree from a Reputed University and Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) (or) Chartered Accountant (CA).

Relevant Post Qualification experience in Cost & Management Accounting.
