Manager/Senior Manager Merchandising - With Retail Sector Luxury Brand
Principal Deliverables :
1. Data management and analysis
a. To guarantee that best-sellers realize their full potential, determine their best-selling factors. Identify sluggish sellers and take steps to lower pricing or institute promotions.
b. Analysis of the company's operating categories and market segments, with recommendations for additions and exclusions.
2. NEGOTIATION
a. Enter into negotiations with representatives of global luxury brands.
b. Attend overseas trade shows in the company's stead.
c. Choose potential brands and bargain with the business for collaborations.
3. OUTLINE
Plan seasonally appropriate purchases to boost sales at peak times and manage stock levels based on seasonal projections.
b. Planning for inventory, ordering supplies, replenishment, and reorders in order to negotiate cost pricing and control distribution
4. INTERNATIONAL AND EXTERNAL ALIGNMENT.
a. Coordinating with important internal divisions including Finance, Marketing, and Operations
b. Coordinating with outside service providers like clearinghouses, messengers, etc.
5. MANAGEMENT OF INVENTORY AND WAREHOUSES.
Planning, upkeep, and replenishment for the central warehouse
6. COMMERCIAL
a. Recognizing statutory elements, such as GST, Customs, and other regulations and taxes that affect the company.
b. Being aware of and attempting to lessen the effects of currency changes.
