Client:   Our Client is one of the leading ones in Luxury Retail with over 30 brands to its credit.   It has aggressive plans to build a strong presence in the luxury retail sector in India, spanning across various segments such as apparels, shoes, accessories, jewellery etc.   With their rapid expansion plans, they are looking for strong marketing talent that would provide strategic direction and enable them to build strong brand presence for their portfolio in India. The position would be in the nature of Marketing / Sr. Manager and would report into the Marketing Head.   We have been given to understand that the exact size and nature of the portfolio will be decided depending on the profile and experience levels of the potential candidate.   The marketing function is a distinct function from the business and sales functions. The marketing function is responsible for charting out the strategy for the iconic global brand equity. It would be the guardian of the overall equity and responsible for developing key growth strategies for the brand. It needs to ensure that all functions are completely aligned and the brand plans are excellently executed in the market. The Marketing Manager will need to ensure that the entire marketing mix spanning communication, public relations, digital marketing and in-store plans are well executed and consistent with the brand's equity.   Job Profile:  What is that I need to do :  Marketing planning:  - Participate in creation of a marketing plan in line with the annual business plan for the Brand  - Marketing plan will span across mediums like- new media assets, Digital, Print, Outdoor, Direct marketing, CRM, Events & Activations, PR etc.  - Manage the execution of the marketing plan in the most effective and timely manner  - Keep an eye on the brand track/performance and other KPIs  - Track competition marketing and manage innovative ideas as a leader in the category  Customer Acquisition & Engagement:  - Mall to footfall conversions through events, activities, promotions and innovative engagement ideas at the stores  - Analyze customer recruitment & engagement patterns with the brand  - Drive the Customer experience as per brand definition & parameters & constantly monitor the KPIs   - Create a brand saliency amongst the existing customers by driving and maintaining the RFM KPIs as per targets defined  - Evaluate new media options for customer engagement and experience at the point of sales  Marketing communications:  - Creating integrated marketing programs & retail activation programs.  - Ensure brand visibility through the correct media mix, alliances working within defined budgets  - Work with the right set of influencers within the brand environment to create a buzz and positive circle of influence- Young/cool/ living in their space  - Ensure all brand related communication is standardized and in line with the global standards.  - Drive campaigns, contests and online content for Brand's social media initiatives.  Desired Capabilities :   - Good energy levels - with ability to multiple task and deliver desired results with quality.  - Should be able to lead with ideas  - Good analytical skills, ability to use MS Excel effectively for driving Brand initiatives.  - Effective listening & communications Skills - ability to put the point across with simplicity  - Ability to see the larger picture - ability to zoom in & zoom out.  The people to work with:   Within Organization:  - Head of Marketing   - Business Head / Manager  - Retail and Store Manager  - Buyers and Merchandisers   - Visual Merchandiser   Outside Organization:  - Agencies - Media/Digital/PR  - Partners  - Other Brands  - Mall Partners  Preferred Colleges:  Should possess a full time PG degree/ diploma in Marketing/ Fashion communication from the following B-schools:  FMS Delhi,  Xavier's Institute of Communication (XIC),  SP Jain (SPJIMR)  MDI (Gurgaon)  JBMIMS  NMIMS (Full time course)  IMT Ghaziabad,  Symbiosis Inst.
