Manager/Senior Manager - Logistics [Pharma]

- To monitor and have an overview of day to day operations - Outbound Logistics and Inbound Logistics (Dispatches to various locations, Tracking of Inbound shipments, Documents preparation, On time deliveries at destination, Flow of Documents, etc)

- Responsible for Exports, Domestic Inter Unit and also Imports clearance activities

- To develop systems and processes so that the Logistics dept works closely with Stake holders - LSPs (Logistics Service Providers), Clearing agents, Finance team, Marketing / Sales dept/ Purchase Dept to improve Customer Satisfaction (External and Internal customers)

- Cost control, Logistics Process Monitoring with technology intervention

- To work across all functions within the organisation to synergies and with a purpose of meeting the organisational goals

- To appoint Logistics Service Providers / Vendors for meeting the transportation requirements and ensuring continuous evaluation of their performance

- To Develop, Guide and Motivate the Logistics team so that the Logistics team anticipates customer needs (internal and external) and works to meet the expectations of all concerned

- To conduct Financial Analysis on the Logistics Costs. The analysis would be assisting in costs optimization and also would assist in working out forecasts/cost estimates

- To Develop, Guide and Motivate the Logistics team Team size around 10 so that the Logistics team meets and anticipates customer needs (internal and external) and works to meet the expectations of all concerned

Profile of candidate :

- Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience

- Thorough knowledge of Export Logistics, Import Logistics and Domestic Transportation

- Sound knowledge of Customs procedures ( pre export and Post export)

- Experience in Pharma Logistics

- Good communication skills and Good MS office skills

- Good interpersonal skills

- Post Graduate preferably in Management with knowledge in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or International Business
