Manager/Senior Manager - Legal - LLB - Automotive

Role : Manager/ Sr Manager Legal - with leading automotive giant.

Professionals from Automotive/ manufacturing / Heavy industries - engineering preferred. Large Organisation with multiple JV's

SECRETARIAL: 70%

- Corporate restructuring like merger, demerger, conversions etc.

- FEMA related issues

- RBI Approvals

- Buy Back of shares

- Consolidation of shares

- Managerial Remuneration related issues

- Reduction of share Capital

LEGAL: 30%

- Effective communication and liaisoning with lawyers, legal firms, counsels.

- Handling of litigation

a) W.r.t land including i.e obtaining Title of land, Building completion certificates, Lease permission from authorities, Acquisition proceedings, purchase / sale of land,

b) Wr.t recovery suits/ winding up petitions

c) W.r.t Intellectual property rights.

d) W.r.t negotiable instrument act. Consumer Protection Act etc.

e) Wr.t Union/ employee related cases.

- Drafting, amending and reviewing Joint Venture agreements, Suppliers/Customers agreement, Bank Loan agreements etc.

- Advising/ updating all departments regarding amendments in law and identifying situations for which legal actions need to be initiated with specific emphasis on Compliance of laws.

- Consolidating the status of various ongoing litigation and arbitration cases.

- Visiting of plants w.r.t various related cases.

LLB mandatory,

Research pertaining to the various legal issues related to company.

Ability to work in computerized environment. Good working knowledge of MS office and Excel is compulsory.

Strong interpersonal skills. Candidates from manufacturing, multiple plant conglomerate preferred (Auto Domain)
