Manager/ Sr Manager Investment Analyst ( For a PE firm)

Key Responsibilities:

1. An investment analyst is a financial professional with expertise in evaluating financial and investment information, typically for the purpose of making buy, sell and hold recommendations for securities.

2. Buy-side analysts work for fund managers at mutual fund brokers and financial advisory firms and identify investment opportunities for their firm.

3. Sell-side equity analysts often work for the big investment banks and issue buy, sell and hold recommendations as well as company-specific research.

4. Conducting due diligence on companies and industries by researching, reading financial statements and market data

5. Analysing financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organisation is positioned to deliver for investors

6. Monitoring the financial news using specialist media sources

7. Financial modelling and projection

8. Making recommendations to fund managers, being able to position ideas and articulate to the fund manager about the risk or payoff for each recommendation

Qualification/ Experience: MBA (Finance)/ CA with 4-7 years of work experience
