HRBP manages a number of Business Mgrs independently around the people product and processes.
They act as consultants, trust advisor & change agent to Country/ Business Relationship Mgrs for critical people initiatives, partner with business to drive business performance and meet objectives and on a day to day basis for HR activities.
Relationship Management
HRBP is the people champion with regard to deployment, performance management & rewards, capability development, talent management etc
- Proactively manage people expectations interms of development, career etc
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across both the relevant business and HR Community
- Champion employee engagement initiatives alongwith business managers
- Maintain critical people data & information with confidentiality as required
- Exhibit company values in all interactions
Advice Provision
- Improve managerial & leadership capability through structured interventions such as development programs, coaching etc
- Influence business managers to take more effective decisions around people matters
- Facilitate complex people issues for resolution in line with company policy and local laws
- Provide advice and guidance on all HR operational areas to key segment stakeholders within confined guidelines
- Coach managers and employees on Risk, Conduct & Behaviour
- Increased proficiency of line manager to use HR products and tools
Project Management
- Deliver benefits of project activities on time and to budget
- Deliver key people processes (e.g. talent, performance management compensation etc) to time and in line with bank standards
- Project change/ benefits delivered are long term and sustainable
- Additional value created through existing products and processes
