Manager/Senior Manager/Head - Civil Construction Projects

Role Purpose - We are looking for an experienced Civil Construction Head to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish including organize and oversee civil construction work in ICT area(Data centres, NOC/SOC) and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

- Civil Construction Head must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

- The goal will be to ensure all civil construction works are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

2. In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

3. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards

What we are looking for in you-

 1. Proficient in planning and executing civil construction projects involving method engineering, development, contract administration, Resource planning in compliance with quality standards.

2. Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project. Also prepare all layouts to get the approvals from the all process owners, customers to take the further steps.

3. Confirming the adheres of Procedures & Policies through various reviews like Management, Process, Design, ESH Reviews, Cost etc& Implement the agreement of the reviews in Estimate phase.

4. Adept in working as per CPWD works Procedure, Manual, Technical Specifications and Guidelines which include Estimation ( Preliminary/ Detailed), Analysis of Rates, Justification of Rates, Tendering, Implementation of Contract, Levy of LD Clause, Arbitration and Work Order Closure.

5. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations &defining the work plan for the project and manage their development.

6. Preparing the Schedule for complete project from Definition, Approval through Successful commissioning of the project.

7. Understand various costing involved with the Project and should be able to manage and understand Project Controls. Preparing Cost/Budget Summaries.

8. Work with Project Controller and arrive at updated/projected figures

9. Tracking the milestones & administering the agreed schedule throughout the path of Project.

10. Finalize the Process, Project & Construction Execution documentation.

11. Completing the bidding / tendering process in line with the prescribed guidelines & working with the Purchase committee to finalize the successful bidders for various Parts of projects.

12. Leading Project implementation - Managing project information, schedules, cash flow, reports.

13. Managing interface between the various project teams on a regular basis, through Site meetings, Management reviews.

14. Well versed with Safety review in the Project before the start up and while during construction.

15. Project closure with the appropriate financial process like asset tagging, Customer HOTO, Closing the PO or WO in line with the agreed terms.
