Manager/Senior Manager - Group Strategy - Infra/Chemicals Business

- Support in internal incubation of a new business build for the RPG Group

- Undertake primary and secondary research (customers, projects/ use-cases, startups etc.), shape the customer & stakeholder value proposition,

- Setup mechanisms for continuous environmental scan, new developments and trends, competitive intelligence

- Co-lead efforts to identify potential M&A targets (incl. Startups) to support the business build

- Co-develop the 3-5 year business plan & implementation plan for kickstarting business build

- Co-design and support the execution of the strategy agenda for 1-2 group companies -

- Work closely with stakeholders in group companies to execute a) identified strategy projects to drive breakout growth and/or b) initiatives for digital transformation of company operations

- Support companies in relative assessment (strategic, financial) of opportunities - balance between short and medium/long term initiatives

- Setup and execute mechanisms to track efficiency and progress of plans

- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders - build a trusted advisor relationship

- Work closely with Ventures team to identify high potential startups for group companies

- Lead efforts to build relationships with academic institutions to identify high potential, nascent startups for potential investments / partnerships

- Liaise with other group functions (corporate finance, digital etc.) on specific initiatives as reqd.

- Run the annual and long term strategy process for the group, working closely with the six group companies' CEOs and strategy officers. This includes defining key analyses, templates, stepwise approach, and the dashboard to track.
