Academic and professional background:

- 6-12 years of relevant experience in financial / investment research field with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- Equity research - detailed financial modeling and comprehensive report writing skills

- Investment banking and private equity research - preparation of pitch books, information memorandums/private placement memorandums, target identification, complex financial modeling, investment opportunity evaluation, comps and transaction analysis, in-depth industry research

- CFA/MBA from top tier college with top 10% academic performance in the class

- Candidate must have academic excellence throughout in at least one of the following:

- Top 5 in the class throughout academic career

- In top 25% of top 10 degree college of India (in that category)

- Proven record of being a leader in sports or other extracurricular activities

- Any other qualities which clearly differentiates the candidate from others

- International exposure through travel or education is desired

- Prior experience of working in KPO / investment banks / captive units of international investment banks / brokerage houses

- Must have an exceptional performance track record and should be a top quartile professional throughout his/her career

Required skills:

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills (English)

- Ability to balance hand on and hands off approach

- Should be proactive in prioritizing and organizing the tasks to meet deadlines, while working on multiple projects

- Ability to monitor/handle the junior analysts

- Superior analytical, interpersonal skills and ability to dig deeper into the problems and suggest solutions

- Advanced skills in a variety of computer applications and reporting tools including, but not limited to, MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

- Quantitative analytical skills
