Manager/Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Hospitality Chain - CA/CFA

Job Overview:

This is a individual contributor role where the Sr. Manager/ Manager should be finance professional with strong pedigree (MBA / CA). The role is the analytical powerhouse of the organization and empowers for strategic decision making. He / she will manage strategy, financial planning, internal and external reporting, feasibility study (new acquisitions), budgeting and valuation, while interacting closely with heads of various regions and functions in the organization. The Manager will also closely work with acquisition and capital markets teams on strategic initiatives and decision making.

Responsibilities:

Business planning, valuations and reporting:

- 5-year business plans, prepared in close coordination with various function and region heads

- Annual budget preparations, audits and tracking the budgets versus actuals

- Quarterly portfolio valuations for the purpose of global reporting.

- External valuation by different International Consultants for submission to lenders and auditors

- Valuation audits conducted by the Big 4 auditors

Strategic Initiatives (including feasibility studies):

- Analysis and Presentations for senior management for periodic updates and decision-making support. Typically, these include Board Materials, Operations Updates, etc.

- Portfolio level strategic initiatives such as new development projects, new debt issuances, competition analysis, etc.

- Market study and feasibility assessment for new acquisitions.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) from big 4

- MBA from a leading educational institution (IIM or ISB)

- CFA Level 3 Qualification

Competencies & Skills: (Mandatory)

- Minimum At least 3-4 years of years of experience in hospitality valuation, investments or FP&A

- Preference for prior experience in Investment / Asset Management teams of Private Equity organizations or commercial real estate industry

- Excellent analytical capabilities and presentation skills with proficiency in excel and power point.

- Ability to effectively summarize, articulate and communicate critical takeaways for senior management

- Ability to coordinate across functions, regions, and levels in the organization

- Exposure and knowledge of capital markets will be an added advantage
