Manager/Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

Role : Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

Reporting To : CFO

Qualification : CA With 5 yrs of experience

Profile :

A) Financial Planning and Analysis :

- Coordinate the preparation and monitoring of budgets

- Submit regular financial reports to CFO including monthly profit and loss by branches, by region, by customer, by product etc. (Actual vs. Budget), variance analysis on Product Cost etc.

- Perform thorough analysis of financial results, (level of profitability, appropriateness of costs incurred, adequacy of the pricing structure of products manufactured and services rendered).

- Prepare financial business plans and feasibility studies

- Develop and execute inventory costing mechanism

- Develop and control management policies and processes to manage all India inventory assets.

- Analyse physical inventory, establish and maintain inventory discrepancy investigation and generate appropriate reporting to maintain adequate inventory levels and appropriate control

- Establish departmental guidelines and Policies to support period transactional cut offs.

B) Accounting and MIS / Reporting :

- Monthly quantity reconciliation of Inventory

- Monthly updated BOM

- Monthly review of slow moving / non moving / defective inventory

- Assist in monthly closing activities relating to stock position.

- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors in relation to inventory verification and audit.

- Preparation of D+2 / D+3 / Variance analysis of monthly results and presenting it to the management /continent head /Continental Controller

- Group reporting

C) Product Costing

- Accountable for accurate Product Costing that includes Process wise/ Stage wise Material Cost / Labour Cost/ Overhead Cost etc.

- Responsible for all Cost aspects of Factory Accounts.

D) Team Management

- Mentor and leader for a direct team, managing their work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation and the building of an effective and dynamic team
