Manager/Senior Manager - Finance Automation - RPA

Looking for Mumbai based candidates only, who have exposure to Finance Automation. Prefer immediate joiners.

1. Participate as an integral team member on multi-disciplined team seeking to assess, test, develop and implement approaches for introducing Emerging Technologies in the global Finance organization, with specific near-term focus on RPA.

2. Act as a COP Finance resource to the RPA pilot consultants, learning methodology, best practices and automation coding requirements associated with specific tools piloted.

3. Design framework for identifying the opportunity set for RPA across global Finance and characterization to enable prioritization for implementation.

4. Prepare detailed process design documents in conjunction with Finance process owners and IT process experts that enable assessment of automation viability, scope and eventually detailed RPA coding.

5. Work collaboratively with other Project team members and Finance/IT organization to establish business support model and governance framework for RPA in Finance/COP.

6. Automation Support Delivery:

a. Identify automation opportunities across business functions.

b. Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs for implementation.

c. Provide guidance for process design and architecture.

d. Develop RPA bots, utilize other tools and technologies to deliver automation solutions.

e. Design, develop, and test automation workflows.

f. Support the launch and implementation of Automation Anywhere RPA solutions.

g. Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes).

h. Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.

i. Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues.

j. Ensures compliance to policies, procedures, and internal controls.

k. Stakeholder Engagement

l. Engage with business functions to identify automation opportunities.

m. Provide ideas for automation solutions and architecture.

n. Solve problems related to automation.

o. Ensure right SLAs for post deployment support to ensure customer satisfaction.

7. Common tools knowledge could be around tools below, expected to know functional aspects of few of the below and will be great if certified on anyone (or combination) below:

a) Accounts Payable tools: PRM364, Ariba, Expenzing, Zycus, or any other P2P software.

b) Travel & Expense tools: Concur, Happay.

c) RPA bots creation using Uipath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism.

Skills and competencies

- Degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, IT or related discipline

- Building complex VBA scripts to automate Excel spreadsheet processes Manipulating data with complex Excel, VBA, Power Query Editors, Power BI, Google Tools (i.e., Spreadsheet, Forms, Data Studio etc), Uipath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism and SQL Coding

- Expert level Excel skills (Conditional Formatting, Data Validation Rules, Table Manipulation, Named Ranges, Creating/Modifying connections to external data sources, Workbook/Worksheet/Cell Data Protection) and graphing to streamline business processes

- Expert level Excel VBA skills (Ability to create complex forms/functions/subroutines, Experience using constants and visibility modifiers, Programmatic manipulation of objects/tables/data connections/formulas)

- Able to debug/code difficult functions/macros using VBA

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong process skills, including ability to summarize and present process flow, systems integration and control points in process design documentation

- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint

- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills working with financial, IT and management personnel
