- A manufacturing finance manager is a critical role in the success of implementing finance systems and processes.
- Incumbent must have be able to manage finance, accounting, accounts payable, purchasing, inventory, scheduling, planning, and manufacturing/production departments.
- Implement product costing and production routing designs while understanding the change implications to operations (procurement, planning, scheduling, production, and inventory).
- Implement manufacturing costing structure: Cost Centers and General Ledger design, manufacturing cost category reporting, and indirect cost purchasing management.
- Prepare and Present Financial reports to CFO
- Track deliverables to a successful finance integration of a production facility
- Manage relationships and communications with cross-functional business partners
Key Skills :
- Chartered Accountant with exceptional Finance, Accounting, or closely related field is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in finance or accounting is required. Experience in manufacturing preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong financial knowledge and general accounting knowledge
- MS Excel proficiency and strong MS PowerPoint skills
- Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think independently and influence decision making process
- Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company and external stakeholders
- Ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies
- Ability to work with various functions and departments
