Role
- Work and Collaborate across operation teams to build and deliver capabilities & platforms to support Product (business) initiatives.
- Understand the Lending Industry of India and understands the Business of Loans and Credit rating principles
- Utilize data profiling of the various data sources to identify issues related to accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and reliability of data
- Help develop and/or enhance systematic processes (e.g., dashboards) for collecting, analyzing and escalating data quality issues
- Creating Dashboards on data quality anomalies identified across data store, patterns and trends in data received from customers.
- Understands data management tools ( functionally ) including SQL, relational database management, ETL, and big data solutions - Hadoop, using Hive, Spark QL must
- Collaborate directly with the business data owners and members to establish quality business rules that will provide the foundation of the organization's data quality improvement plan.
- Automate and run scheduled monthly data quality activities.
- Establish a data quality methodology documenting a repeatable set of processes for determining, investigating and resolving data quality issues, establishing an on-going process for maintaining quality data and defining data quality audit procedures.
- Investigating new member data and sharing data quality results based upon Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
- Describe the distribution of individual variables, Summarize the association between two variables, Identify variables that are redundant within a large set of variables, Group observations that are similar across a set of variables
- Analyze a range of information observing patterns and trends.
- Use existing and new toolsets to deliver ad-hoc reports to support business process and change
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the immediate senior and/or HOD
Experience:
- Master's degree in Business Administration/ Operations/ Technology or a related field
- 6 - 9 years- experience in a similar job function in a companywide Data/Policy/Risk Assessment Projects
- At least 5 years- experience in Business Intelligence in Reputed Indian Public/PVT Bank or NBFC or MNC Bank
Skills and Competencies:
- Showcase team handling skills to deliver Data quality projects company-wide.
- Ability to manage relationships effectively and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to liaise with the business and the technical team and to understand the balance of investment to deliver benefit required
- Must be work as SME in Financial lending data and ability to deep dive into data to find Trends/anomalies/inconsistency reported.
- Ability to handle large and complex datasets in different formats.
- Good experience of working in a complex integrated systems environment
- Should possess good planning and organizing skills and must have an eye for detail
- Customer focused with strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated - the ability to work unsupervised
Technical Skills :
- Excellent Unix shell scripting
- Excellent SQL skillsets and experience working with relational and non-relational databases
- Strong knowledge of advanced programming in SAS
- Good experience of working with an analytical toolset like Tableau, PowerBI
- Experience of working in an agile environment
- Excellent analytical skills that can be applied at a technical and business level
- Strong technical Skills and experience in using Advance database concepts in Hadoop HiveQL / PIG scripts / Spark SQL
- Experience with high-performance databases and ETL tools, processes, and designs
