Manager/Senior Manager - Credit Underwriting - Mortgages - CA

Position Purpose: Credit underwriter for Central Underwriting Team - Mortgages

Chartered Accountant [CA] Compulsory

Specific Responsibilities -

- Underwriting of High value mortgage cases

- Data Slicing/ Analysis and publishing of the reports

- PDD monitoring

- Industry Analysis

- Make optimal use of the Loan Origination System

- Maintain Credit TAT

- Manage Credit Underwriting to policy

- Monitor Delinquency and NPA to budgeted levels for the product

- Manage Credit Cost as per approved budgets

- Give feedback to Credit Policy based on experience of underwriting

- Portfolio Quality

- Quality of Appraisal

- Cost Management

- Implementation of Processes

Internal - Sales, Credit Underwriting team, HR, Admin, IT

External - Customers, Agencies

APPLICANT PROFILE

Experience - Credit Underwriting Experience of minimum 3 to 4 yrs

- Positive, pro-business attitude

- Excellent Analytical skills

- Communication and Presentation skills

- Product knowledge

- Ability to read and understand legal and technical reports and valuations related to properties financed by the company
