Job Description:

The candidate will be a member of the Corporate Communications team. The primary role of the candidate will be to manage the Corporate Social Responsibility program for India. He/She should work with all relevant stakeholders, define processes/policies wherever required, create detailed plans, build relationships with partner organizations, and implement and coordinate a range of activities and initiatives to ensure a positive impact on the community/environment.

Skills/Knowledge :

- Experience in defining the CSR strategy for organizations and executing CSR programs/activities

- Awareness of the needs of communities/society (environmental, political, social, economic, educational, human rights, sustainability issues, etc.), and how CSR activities can have a positive impact towards addressing those needs

- A clear understanding of how clear and effective CSR could enhance the organization's brand and boost stakeholder morale

- In-depth understanding of the policies/acts/laws governing CSR in India

- A good understanding of the NGO landscape in India, and contacts with leading NGOs

- A great track record of working with NGOs, and leading CSR strategy for organizations

- Coordinating and leading volunteer activities and events, and inspiring employee participation

- Negotiating and overseeing sponsorship deals with relevant agencies for CSR projects

- Organizing educational workshops/sessions to coach CSR champions

- Excellent project management skills

- Proven ability to work with current software and tools that can encourage and enhance the volunteer experience

- Willingness and ability to work with partners across US, Ireland, Canada and China

- Good contacts with relevant industry bodies like the NASSCOM Foundation

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Adaptability and empathy

- Strong team player

- Integrity and open mindedness

- Persuasive and self- confident presenter

- Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written

- Ability to consolidate and present reports on the CSR landscape and activities at FMR India

Education and Experience :

Education : Master of Social Work (MSW)/MBA

Experience :

- The candidate should have about 10+years of work experience.

- A candidate with relevant experience in areas like Marketing/Communications/HR with the last four to six years of work experience in the Corporate Social Responsibility space would be an ideal fit.

- He/She should have a strong understanding of the NGO sector, various regulations governing CSR, good contacts with a large number of NGOs as well as agencies facilitating CSR programs, and a great track record of working with NGOs, and leading CSR strategy for organizations.
