We are currently retained by leading Supply Chain Company to recruit Manager/Senior Manager Commercial

Below are job synopsis :

- Taxation - Direct & Indirect

- Review and analyse the Business operations and suggested tax compliance requirements

- Provide insight into the forthcoming proposed Direct & Indirect tax changes

- Participate in forecasting mid-to-long-term tax planning

- Advice on Tax optimisation strategies in M&A, Investment & Funding

- Manage & attend Income Tax and GST assessments, notices, payments & return filing

- Fund Raising and Banking

- Review and implement the Business Plans of company (long term and short term). Constantly track and monitor their progress and highlight deviations

- Optimize funding activities to yield risk free maximum returns

- Develop and implement policies on the banking mix for project level and corporate level fund requirements

- Providing all Covenant in time to banks as per sanction Terms

- Insurance

- Periodic review of Actual Vs Insurance cover value and taking necessary steps to revise the insurance cover value appropriately

- Handling insurance claim process

- Accounting of Insurance related transactions in books (Loss / Claim/claim settlement entry)

- Manage Payable & Receivables

- Overseeing invoicing, income provisioning, debtor's balance confirmation, ageing analysis

- Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report

- Responding to vendor invoices

- Ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policy

- Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company

- Prepare monthly receivable statements

- Provide backup support to other groups in the accounting department, type periodic reports and perform other general administrative duties

- Typically report to a supervisor or manage

- Calculate and post receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and verify details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances

- Compile and sort documents, prepare and post invoices and credit and debit memo

- Work with collections personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts and solicit payments on overdue accounts

- Sound accounting background with proficiency in Finance and Commercials including Direct & Indirect Taxation, Banking, Payable & Receivables, Fund raising, Insurance

- Leadership and team management qualities

- Good knowledge of MS Office and experience in working on SAP

- Good communication skills
