Member firms of the Price Waterhouse & Affiliates network in India invites applications for Manager/Senior Manager in Capital Market and Accounting Advisory for multiple locations Bangalore, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai


Looking for interested candidates who are CA/CPA/ ACCA with experience between 7-12 years in IGAAP/ US GAAP/Insurance Accounting/Accounting Advisory.


Capital Market and Accounting Advisory Services which is part of the overall assurance practice is a dedicated global team of professionals that provides high-value advisory services under IFRS, US GAAP and Ind AS along with capital markets services.


Roles & Responsibilities:


- Handle a portfolio of clients


- Handle projects related to provision of accounting advisory support (IFRS/US GAAP/Ind AS) and GAAP conversion services to clients


- Independently handle projects related to IPO preparedness and preparation of financial information for IPO transactions


- Be responsible for engagement planning, budgeting, management and closure


- Be accountable for engagement economics, profitability, and efficiency


- Identify business opportunities


- Develop people to take on higher responsibilities


- Participate in learning and education activities for the firm


- Contribute to thought leadership publications on IFRS, US GAAP and Ind AS


Education and Experience:


Essential:


- CA /CPA/ ACCA with 7-12 years of post-qualification experience


- Additional qualification of CPA, ACCA, and other post-graduation in accounting will be an added advantage


- Experience of managing US GAAP / IFRS GAAP conversion projects


Desirable:


- Focus on identifying and developing business opportunities and managing relationships


- Project and team management


- Ability to read, understand and apply technical accounting standards


- Supervise projects, develop and implement solutions


- Coach junior team members, encourage technical excellence and learning


- Excellent communication skills and should be flexible to travel


- Experience of working on US GAAP / IFRS conversion engagements in the past


- Quick learner and manages a team well


- Ability to read, understand and apply technical accounting standards


- Manage/execute projects, develop and implement solutions


- Identify and develop business opportunities and manage relationships


- Coach junior team members, encourage technical excellence and learning


- Well versed with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint


- Good communication skills


- Should be flexible to travel
