Manager/Senior Manager - Business Development - Solar & Wind Energy Firm - IIM/FMS

This is a Business Development role with a leading Solar & Wind Energy firm headquartered at Gurgaon.

- B2B sales focused on distributed solar or solar rooftop business in the assigned region, getting business from corporates, educational institutes, winning those contracts etc. would be essentially the role.

- The individual will solicit customer feedback on company products and programs as well as gather market intelligence. This position will work closely with the Legal, Marketing departments, Projects and Technical to ensure continual improvement of the customer experience hence market share.

Specific Responsibilities

- Meet all assigned Key Performance Indicators including revenue goals

- Increase customer satisfaction through improved communication and turnaround time

- Continually maintain an accurate forecast and robust pipeline of sales opportunities

- Update CRM in regard to customer status, contacts, communications etc.

- Travel frequently to customer's place of business

- Gather and report Market Intelligence

- Meet or exceed all measurable sales objectives and quotas

- Generate new business opportunities and ensures growth of existing accounts

- Continue to enhance selling skills, increase closing rates, and leverage existing client base

Profile & Eligible Criteria

1. Education: MBA(Full Time) from Tier 1 Institutes(IIMs & FMS only).

2. Experience: 6-8Yrs overall; Minimum 3-4 years B2B sales experience mandatory; Solar exposure preferable, however candidates from Oil & Gas/Power/Infrastructure and Manufacturing can apply as well.
