Purpose of the Job:

To provide access to analytics, insights on critical issues and overall business performance for Home Finance OR Commercial Finance. Besides this, the role involves identifying cross-functional and cross-business synergies opportunities that will drive efficiency linked to cost, agility and business performance. Additionally, identify innovative and disruptive technologies and business models within the industry.

Span of Control Not Applicable

Key Responsibilities 1. Business Intelligence

1.Decide on the reporting requirements (structure, cascade, frequency, formats)

2.Conduct data analysis - internal and market trends including bench marking

3.Predictive analytics - future probabilities

4.Report Key events (financial, political, natural) and assess likely impact

5.Report progress on key performance indicators

6.Share regulatory changes being planned / discussed

2. Business Excellence

1.Seek inputs on ideas internally and externally for improvement

2.Identify technology and other interventions to address the identified opportunities

3.Identify key trends - global and local. Decide key themes for innovation

4.Business case -preparation / approvals / budget sanction

5.Develop a framework - operating model, IT model etc. to support execution

Should Know / Possess Ability to Learn Fast - Understand the HF OR CF market, business models, competitors and other industry constituents.

Understand key business drivers like Funding, Sales and distribution (e.g. channel management, agency partnerships), Products, Opex, Risk and Underwriting.
