GDS Assurance - Manager/Senior Manager

AQM :

- Our Audit quality monitoring team consists of managers and senior managers focused on monitoring or enhancing quality checks of the audits performed by global teams. The team assists the global teams in various quality-related initiatives such as:

- Pre Issuance reviews including thematic or hot file reviews

- Preparing for PCAOB inspections

- Audit quality reviews (AQRs)

- Focused reviews per internal to Professional Practice / Quality and Risk Management requirements.

- AQM - Candidates who have conducted high quality audits, with good audit strategy and execution experience.

- Good knowledge and experience in GAAS, GAAP.

Preference will be given to candidates :

- Having experience in internal firm inspection like Real Time Reviews, ECR Reviews, QRB, Peer Reviews; Regulatory inspections; PCAOB Inspections

- Ensure quality policy and Risk procedures are followed by auditors for all their client engagements.

- The role is highly technical and the ideal candidate should possess deep and thorough knowledge of audit concepts. GAAS or sector knowledge and experience are preferable. The individual should have strong communication skills and should demonstrate executive presence and maturity when collaborating with partners or directors.

Requirements for the role :

- CAs with professional certification in accounting - CA, CPA or ACCA.

- Technically proficient in audit related concepts, GAAS and GAAP requirements.

- Minimum of six years of experience in Statutory Audit related areas in other mid or top tier account firms post qualification.

- Excellent communication skills, including speaking and writing effectively in English.

- Ability to spread positive work culture and live values.

- The ability to quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues within and outside India
