Manager/Senior Manager - Analytics - eCommerce

Seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager for an eCommerce startup

You will be part of the team driving the next frontier for the platform that allowing more people to have real and fun buying and selling experience. You will be involved in driving insights for product strategy, operation strategy, marketing strategy and implementation across teams.

Primary Responsibilities:
 
- Use existing insights, and develop an understanding agenda to unearth new ones, to drive the product and other function's strategy

- Own all communications of insights to management in support of strategic decision-making

- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring the use of modern analytical and modeling techniques

- Plan, and be able to conduct as needed, end-to-end analyses, from data requirement gathering to data processing and modeling

- Own ongoing deliverable and communications

Minimum Qualification :

- MS degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, operations research, econometrics), or BS in a quantitative discipline plus MBA with a quantitative concentration (operations management, supply chain, information technology, finance), or equivalent experience

- 8+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis or statistical modeling

- Track-record driving product strategy through data analysis and product positioning

- Experience extracting and manipulating large datasets

- Working knowledge of at least one modeling framework (e.g., SciKit Learn, SAS, R, MATLAB)

Preferred Qualification :

- 5+ years experience leading cross-functional teams
