Job Description :

- Responsible for sourcing & procurement of various API's from domestic & overseas manufacturers for both new development and existing product to ensure inventory is maintained at the optimum level to support on time deliveries while keeping inventory holdings at appropriate levels.

- In-licensing, Partnering & Sourcing-Identify cultivate prospects & cultivate network of contacts at potential partners, Identifying & liaising with domestic or International supplier for Strategic Sourcing (APIs, Excipients, Packaging materials) and Finished Formulations.

- New Products scouting and Alliance Management of local in-licensing

- Participating in effective negotiation with strategic partners and preparing strategy sheets/document by gathering market information on sources, price, and competitors.

- Negotiating with suppliers on price, payment terms, lead time, and delivery terms.

- Closing CDA, supply agreement, and other documentation with Supplier/manufacturer

- Vendor management for long term relationship and actively involved in coordination with clients with regards to technical, logistic commercial aspect.

- Arranging for audits and closing technical agreements

- Ensure cost effective & efficient procurement of required materials with respect to its quantity, quality, prices, services, payment terms, lead time, delivery terms & actual requirement etc to drive and improve the S&OP process

- Review RFI, RFQ and pro-actively plan procurement activities based on requisition. Lead negotiations to achieve optimal procurement value for procurement / services.

- Involvement in strategic processes of the company and responsible for, and manage effectively, capital and revenue expenditure within the budgets set in order to deliver both cashable and non-cashable savings against agreed targets

- Develop and maintain a working relationship with internal and external stakeholders of product supply: Supplier Relationship management, Global Quality, outside suppliers, Finance, regulatory agencies, affiliate offices and Product Strategy
