DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)

- 7-12 years (post qualification -CA/CPA/ACCA) in auditing or finance controllership roles including at least 2 - 4 years of Financial Accounting and Advisory experience

- Expert Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP.

- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards.

- Extensive working experience in relation to the following services/solutions:

- GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards

- Drafting and designing accounting policies

- Technical accounting research and advice

- Consolidation and Compilation support

- Financial statement close process support

- Transaction accounting and reporting - IPOs, Carve Outs, PPA etc

- Audit remediation and readiness

- Benchmarking services and market analysis

- Advanced data analytics (will be an added advantage)

- Industry Sector specialization will be an added advantage

- International work experience will have added advantage

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead global/domestic client service teams to execute following Financial Accounting and Advisory solutions

- Financial Accounting and Reporting Excellence

- GAAP conversions

- Transaction accounting

- Accounting change (revenue recognition, Lease accounting)

- Accounting policy and governance

- Audit remediation and readiness

- Organizing and providing technical training

- Addressing service delivery quality issues if and when they occur

Manage and develop people

- Lead a team of Assistant Managers and Seniors and make sure the team delivers high quality work, per Company's Global methodology, on time and to budget

- Conduct Financial Accounting and Advisory team performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to the team performance

- Identify development opportunities and training needs for high performing AM/Seniors

Manage business and clients

- Actively support the Americas or EMEIA Financial Accounting and Advisory leadership both in terms of growth as well as quality initiatives

- Enhance relationships with global teams and leverage connections to identify opportunities for work at the Global Delivery Centers
