Manager / Senior Consultant Business Strategy

Experience : 4 - 6 years in management / strategy consulting environment (preference for candidates from tier-1 consulting companies or big four firms, candidates in strategy & operations roles in industry can also apply)

Location : Cyber City, Gurgaon

Education : MBA from top tier colleges or university (e.g. IIMs, ISB, XLRI) OR/AND Engineering from top tier colleges (e.g. IITs, BITS, NITs)

Sector experience : Diversified, not specific, experience of working with Japanese and Indian clients will be an added advantage

Basic job requirements (not necessarily all) :

1. Core capabilities :

Go to market strategy, Growth strategy, Market/ industry research, Data analysis, Financial analysis, Competitive benchmarking, Understanding of research methodologies, business due diligence, desktop due diligence, excellent presentation material creation, data analysis, etc.

2. Additional capability :

Business process mapping, gap analysis, process optimization, supply chain optimization (including network planning, warehouse optimization, inventory optimization), SOPs & KPIs development, procurement operations optimization, etc.

3. Knowledge of Japanese language will be an advantage

Additional requirements :

- Knowledge of Databases such as CapitalIQ, CMIE, ISI Emerging Markets, Capitaline etc.

- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with specific focus on Power Point presentation and excel

Key responsibility :

- Support in pitching new clients which will include preparing pitching material, proposals, and negotiations with clients as well, depending on as the situation would be

- Hypothesis creation to suggest client with solution oriented thought process

- Structuring storyline in order to solve client problems

- Leading a project and supporting project members in realizing the project deliverables

- Capability to mentor or lead junior team members on a project/ proposal preparation

- Managing direct communication with client and taking responsibility & ownership of work undertaken

- Maintain good relationships with clients and project PMs

- Open to work for varied consulting projects in multiple sectors

- Willing to travel across locations and working on multiple projects at a time
