Manager/Senior Analyst/Analyst - Auditing/Financial Research - CA/CPA - Investment Bank

We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research group of an American Investment bank in India.

Primary responsibilities will include :

- Assist the team managing the accounting function for the renewable energy business.

- Work with the controller, accounting team, asset managers and outsourced accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of business activity and completing the monthly and quarterly close cycles.

- Work on initiatives related to establishing, standardizing, optimizing and documenting accounting processes, workflows, and internal accounting controls.

- Assist preparing quarterly and annual financial statements for various project entities and holding companies.

- Prepare for and support the external auditors in completing the annual statutory audits for various holding companies and subsidiaries.

- Review financing and equity agreements and contracts to identify and track financial reporting requirements of the related entities

- The ideal candidate would be a Chartered Accountant/ Certified Public Accountant, with 2-7 years of audit experience, who can work independently and lead a team with limited direction and guidance.

- The candidate should have managed teams for accounting engagements. The candidate should have strong understanding of US GAAP.

- Any previous experience in Energy/Real Estate/Financial Services sector would be an advantage. Understanding of financing agreements and contracts such as Credit Agreements and equity investment agreements is a must.

- The profile requires regular interaction with US and Hyderabad-based teams as well as external parties, and the candidate should possess excellent written and spoken communication skills.

- Only CA's and CPA's are eligible with US GAAP Reporting experience. Salary not a constraint for quality candidate.
